Based upon the statistics, the current energy consumption of domestic construction wall materials production and construction heating is nearly 150 million tons of standard coal, which accounts for about 15% of total annual energy consumption in China. Construction wall materials industry is a big energy consumer, whose energy consumption is equivalent to 230 million tons of standard coal annually.



3.Traditional construction wall materials production and environmental pollution

In building material industry, clay, limestone and sandstone are most used. The current annual yield is more than 5 billion tons, which damages nearly 6700 hectares of farmland. It brings a lot of destruction of vegetation and soil erosion. In addition, it also will discharge lots of smoke and dust from clay brick production. Annual 170 million tons of C02 emissions vastly pollute the environment.
